Artist Links

In addition to the sites discussed in the Research section, we've put together a mini-list of sites that might otherwise be hard to find but have either good links or comprehensive information about easy listening artists.

Some of the discographies that appear on this page are in PDF form. Adobe Acrobat Reader is needed to view a PDF file. Visit the Adobe website to download the free Acrobat Reader.

Ronnie Aldrich
Discography
(PDF)
Ronnie Aldrich (1916-1993) was a gifted British pianist who recorded dozens of albums--primarily on the "Phase 4" record label--between 1962 and 1987. We've compiled a selected discography of his recordings in PDF form. You'll also find a Phase 4 CD list on the Record Labels page.

Keath Barrie -- The music of Keath Barrie is for those who remember the "good ol' days," when music spoke differently to people's hearts--emotionally and spiritually. His music is from a time when you could turn on the radio and just sit back and relax to songs that really meant something personal to listeners. "Keath Barrie's rich mellow baritone voice welcomes the listener into the story of the song. During his music career, he recorded and wrote many memorable songs such as Apalachicola, Christian Island, Nova Scotia, Only Talkin' to the Wind and The Old Lamplighter, to name just a few. His recordings included the best musicians of the day and he entertained people across North America at his concerts during the 70s and 80s."

Percy Faith Percy Faith (US Site) -- Bill Halvorsen has provided the premier American website devoted to the talents of Percy Faith. A compendium of American releases is featured, including information about upcoming releases on CD. This site is packed full of good information and worth a visit.

Hollyridge Strings
Beatles' Songs
Discography
(PDF)
Although somewhat elusive to find and purchase, all but three of the Beatles' songs by the Hollyridge Strings have been released on compact disc. We've provided a handy reference chart for you that lists all of the songs alphabetically and sources them to their original vinyl album locations and CD release locations.

Nick Ingman
Discography
(PDF)
Considerable confusion exists about songs recorded by Nick Ingman. This is because he produced so many "custom" selections for Bonneville, Greater Media and the International Beautiful Music Association. We’ve provided a fairly complete list of Nick Ingman recordings and sourced them as to ownership. The list is probably not complete but we believe that it's darn close.

Bob and Amanda Bailey stopped by and recommended that we add a site to this page. Here's what they told us: "Since you are recommending other CDs, you may want to check out Don Irwin. He is an artist in Houston, TX, whose piano music I think you will find fits well with what you do--especially one of his releases called Southern Living."
