James Last, whose world appeal is unmatched by any living easy listening artist, has a brand new music of Abba album. It features some orchestra, augmented by synthesizers, and is quite contemporary in appeal. While any plans for release in the USA are "hopeful" at best, it can be procured from the leading importers.

sets and include cuts that have never before been released on CD anywhere in
the world! The new digital mastering makes the sound crystal clear. Best of
all, each can be purchased for under $13 for the 3-CD set! That's a great
bargain and hard to pass up.
Ray Conniff, The Ultimate Collection

Percy Faith, The Ultimate Collection
Percy Faith, it could be said, was the founder of MOR or easy listening
music as we know it today. He was unique and a perfectionist.
Andre Kostelanetz, The Ultimate Collection
The Ultimate Collection of Andre Kostelanetz brings together the musical
kaleidoscope of four decades of the brilliance of a truly great musician.
From the classics of the 1930s to the most popular hit songs of our time, no
challenge was too great for Andre Kostelanetz.
David Patt & André Mayeux, California Dreamin'
David Patt pairs with pianist André Mayeux on Bankbeat's newest release, California
Dreamin'. You may not recognize the artists' names, but they are both
accomplished musicians, having produced scores of tracks for both Muzak
and the broadcast custom music market. The best word to describe this
album is "tasty." The rhythm will have your toes tapping and the
arrangements and performances will be candy to your ears. Quoting the
liner notes, "Many of the arrangements are done with full orchestral
settings, while others are focused on the pure nature of a solo
instrument." Our take is that you absolutely will not be disappointed
with this one. Streaming audio is available on Bankbeat's website as well
as ordering instructions.
Brad Smith, The Magic of Broadway
Brad plays the grand piano and is backed by other keyboards, guitars,
flute, oboe, cello, clarinet and a well programmed synthesized string
Percy Faith, Sound of Music/Kismet
Anyone reading this is probably a Percy Faith fan. Not too long ago, there
was a pairing of two of Percy's earlier albums on Taragon, and this
included the classic Sound of Music album, which was first released
in the early 60s. Unfortunately, the audio quality was so hissy it was
annoying. Well, now there's an alternative from England. Sony Music has
paired Sound of Music with Kismet and the audio, while not
perfect, is substantially better (at least to our ears).
